Adding transom windows and/or windows inset into your door can actually significantly improve your home’s curb appeal, making it easier to sell down the road.
Unique Door Knobs and Handles
Now, while we’re talking about stylish accessories for your front door, we should also think about your doorknob or handle. A traditional, round, steel or aluminum doorknob may be fine for government buildings and other institutions, but you want something beautiful that lends style and elegance to your home. You want something that really fits with the rest of the exterior trim, which will add to the appeal of a well-designed door.

You have more choices than ever before when it comes to paints, stains, and varnishes. Do you have a blossoming tree near your front door that blooms purple in the spring? Then, of course, you could also add a plaque with your address and/or your last name in stylish lettering in the center of the door or above it.
